1. The deadline of design submission is extended until April 19th, 2010 at 23.59 local Indonesian time. This extended submission deadline is only for those who have registered before the deadline on March 29th, 2010. Those who already obtain registration numbers are still welcome to submit more design by informing us and we will give you more registration number. A new participant can’t register from our regular method since our automatic registration form will be closed after our deadline on March 29th, 2010.
2. The deadline submission for hardcopy is extended until May 8th, 2010 to give enough time for it to reach our office in Surakarta, Indonesia. But please send the hardcopy immediately.
3. If there is a problem sending the hardcopy of the design due to delivery cost, the participants can send ONLY affirmation letter. So, the participants are allowed to submit the design in softcopy but it is a MUST to send the affirmation letter in hardcopy. Please note that in case we have a tied scoring, we will decide the winner is the one who have submitted both design and affirmation letter in softcopy and hardcopy.

Home Furniture as theme in this competition are not limited, the design submitted such as Kitchen furniture, Bathroom furniture, Bedroom furniture, Dining room furniture, Living room furniture, even Gazebos.

The works submitted must be original, newly created, and freshly ideas that has never been published. It is stated on letter of affirmation signed by each participant.

Entries of original furniture designs in the form of drawings, or scale models may be submitted anytime to Aqsa Living up to 29 March 2010 (postal stamp). There is no limit on number of entries per designer.

Participants: Only individual is allowed to participate on this competition without any categories to distinguish. All participants have their free reign with their furniture creations.

Registration Fee: No fee will be charged for participation on this competition.

Materials of Furniture: The main material used is wood that might be combined with other material such as rattan, bamboo, glass, cast iron, leather, etc.

Copyrights, patents right and industrial properties
All entries submitted will be copyrighted on behalf of the designer. AQSA Living owns production and commercial rights of all entries. Whenever designer intended commercial use on any submitted design, the designer must contact AQSA Living and possess written permit from AQSA Living.

Submitted design which have selling point to be produced and commercially sold will be deserved separately. Aqsa Living will personally contact the designer for the appraisal.

Being participants in AFDC, all participants know and agree to the term and condition as regulated by Aqsa Living.

The need and taste of people regarding to great design furniture in modern life is so obvious.   AQSA Living comprehends this circumstances that well-designed furniture has to be produced based on the need of customers. This idea guides the company to continue the competition as well.

AQSA Living invites designers to contribute their vision of how wood furniture should be in term of design and coziness for the user.  It is considered as an important occasion for furniture designers who willing to have the opportunity of getting public attention to provide their best ideas in the front. Meanwhile, the purpose of being awarded given to the winners is the gratitude to the participants who have willing exchange ideas to optimize their creativity.

AQSA Living strongly believe that designs walks in harmony with the changing society and environment and should express new relationships between human beings and their lives, between human beings and furniture as well as between human beings and the environment. We are certain that designs contribute the representation of human lifestyle and the core of life.
